At the current time, MUD 81 water production and delivery operations have NOT triggered any of the District’s Drought Contingency Plans. However, the District continues to closely monitor all water wells and pumping systems for any signs of stress. Should any of the designated trigger points for implementation of our Drought Contingency Plan be breached, the District will disseminate the pertinent information and the recommended or required actions to be taken by all residents. Communication of these will be via email blasts, website notices and requisite signage at the entrances to Weston Lakes.

In the meantime and so long as this period of extreme drought continues (sources: National Drought Mitigation Center, U.S. Department of Agriculture and National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration), please be prudent with your water usage and avoid unnecessary or excessive water use.
